Greetings from ACAA,
ACAA is a wonderful organization to assist student affairs professionals in the Chicago-wide area who are looking for opportunities to connect with other professionals. ACAA provides professionals further development in the area of student affairs, a network of colleagues across the Chicago area, and an opportunity to gain professional development through several committees.Through ACAA, professionals have the opportunity to dialogue in monthly meetings or participate in resource exchange through the ACAA listserv.

The purpose of this organization is to address the needs of campus activities professionals by developing a resource network for area professional university and college staff that would:

- Encourage professional development in campus activites.
- Encourage the sharing of ideas and programs for students among members institutions and their staff.
- Assist and support in the development of campus activities, programs and services.
- Encourage the development of a professional support system.
- Encourage campus activities that utilize a theoretical and practical foundation in student development.
- Provide support for student leadership development.
